With his 67th half century, he broke David Warner’s record of 66 fifties and became the batsman with the most half centuries in IPL history. This historic moment came on 20 April, during the thrilling match of PBKS vs RCB played in Mullanpur, where Kohli scored a brilliant 67 runs against the stormy bowlers of Punjab and led the team to a tremendous victory.
How was the record made?
In the match played against Rajasthan Royals in Jaipur last week, Kohli equaled Warner’s record. But in this match against PBKS on Sunday, by scoring a fifty in the fourth consecutive match, he proved that “records are made for him!” Kohli’s innings was the key behind this victory, in which he achieved this milestone in 252 innings. On the other hand, Warner took 246 innings to make this record.

This child prodigy from Delhi played his first IPL match in 2008 and since then the RCB jersey has resounded with the thunder of his bat.
