Virat Kohli has become the fifth cricketer in the world to complete 13,000 runs in T20s, after Chris Gayle, Hales, Malik and Pollard.

In the MI vs RCB match of IPL 2025 played in Mumbai, Kohli has achieved another big milestone by completing 13,000 runs in T20 cricket.
Kohli has become the first Indian cricketer to have achieved this feat, and he is one of only five players in the world to have made it to this list. Chris Gayle, Alex Hales, Shoaib Malik and Kieron Pollard are the only ones to have achieved this feat before him.
36-year-old Virat’s batting average in the T20 format is around 42, and his strike rate is also 134. Kohli has registered a magnificent 9 centuries and 98 fifties in T20 cricket.
Kohli’s record in IPL is also superb, where he has scored 8111 runs in 256 matches.
His IPL average is 38.81 while his strike rate is 132.01. Virat’s consistency and hunger for runs make him different from others.
This record of Kohli in T20 cricket is a proud moment for the fans. Kohli has once again proved that he is not just a name, he is an entire era in himself.
