The trust that Gujarat Titans had shown in B. Sai Sudharsan regarding batting is now fully succeeding. Gujarat Titans first bought Sai Sudharsan at a base price of 20 lakhs and this year before IPL 2025, they retained Sudarshan for Rs. 8.5 crore.
Sai Sudharsan’s name is still shining with pride among India’s top young batsmen. In the match played on Wednesday night, Sudharsan once again showed how dependable a batsman he is in the top-order. The left-handed opener scored a dazzling 82 runs in 53 balls against Rajasthan Royals. His 8 fours and 3 sixes created a lot of noise in the stadium.
Gujarat Titans won their fourth match of the tournament thanks to a brilliant innings by Sai Sudharsan. Rajasthan Royals needed 218 runs to win, but they could only reach 159. Gujarat Titans won the match by 58 runs and took a big leap to the top of the points table. This was Sudharsan’s third half-century this season – in one innings, he missed his half-century by just 1 run.

Shahrukh Khan scored 36 runs in just 20 balls while Rahul Tewatia scored 24 runs and gave a good finishing touch by remaining not out.
If Royals wanted to win this match, they needed an explosive start, which Royals batsmen could not do. Sanju Samson and Riyan Parag tried to save the innings and added 48 runs, but the pressure was too much. Shimron Hetmyer played a brilliant innings of 52 runs, but GT bowlers failed his plan. Prasidh Krishna completely destroyed Royals hopes by taking 3 wickets.
