Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s dream and Rajasthan’s shock!
14-year-old wonderkid Vaibhav Suryavanshi‘s season proved to be a rollercoaster one. The young star, who had hit a century in 35 balls a few days ago, scored a duck off 2 balls against Mumbai Indians and this was the reason for his team Rajasthan Royals to be out of the playoff race. In the match played at Sawai Mansingh Stadium on Thursday, Mumbai defeated Rajasthan by 100 runs and captured the top spot in the points table.
Rajasthan Royals: Final blow of the season!
Apart from Vaibhav, Yashasvi Jaiswal (13) and Riyan Parag (16) also failed to score big. The team’s disappointing performance was even more painful when they were knocked out of the playoffs.
