RCB lost the top position: RCB lost their dominance in the points table after losing to Gujarat Titans and the team slipped to third place. Punjab Kings have now become the number one team of IPL 2025, while Delhi Capitals remain at second place. Gujarat remains at fourth place even after the win. Kolkata Knight Riders are at the bottom of the points table, while Rajasthan is at number 9.
Gujarat registers a strong win: Gujarat Titans registered a strong win by losing only two wickets while chasing the target of 170 runs. Initially, Shubman Gill was out after scoring just 14 runs, but Sai Sudarshan and Jos Butler handled the innings. Both of them made a strong partnership of 75 runs for the second wicket. Sudarshan played a brilliant innings of 49 runs in 36 balls, which included 7 fours and 1 six. At the same time, Butler played in a stormy style and scored 73 runs in 39 balls, which included 5 fours and 6 skyscraper sixes. Rutherford also completed the formality of victory by scoring 24 runs in 17 balls.

Livingstone-David’s sensible batting: RCB, who came to bat first after losing the toss, had a very bad start. Virat Kohli was out after scoring just 7 runs, while Phil Salt became the victim of Siraj after scoring 14 runs. Padikkal also returned to the pavilion early.
