Prasidh, who took 2 wickets for just 19 runs in 4 overs, surpassed RCB’s Josh Hazlewood (18 wickets) with a total of 19 wickets this season. It was the result of his consistently accurate line-length and ability to build pressure in the death overs, which led GT to an easy 38-run win.
Trent Boult’s feat: Mumbai got a new hero!
Mumbai Indians Trent Boult took 3 wickets against Rajasthan Royals to take third place in the Purple Cap race. Boult surpassed Chennai Super Kings Noor Ahmed (15 wickets) to take 16 wickets. His swing in the powerplay and the art of reversing the ball in the middle overs helped Mumbai to their sixth consecutive win.
