In the thrilling DC vs KKR match held at Arun Jaitley Stadium, Kolkata defeated Delhi by 18 runs to register their fourth win of the season. However, this win could not take KKR beyond the 7th position in the points table. KKR which is trailing Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) by one point, still needs more wins in the playoff race.
Delhi retains fourth position, clash with Punjab!
Despite the defeat, Delhi Capitals remain in fourth place but have a lead of only one point over Punjab Kings (PBKS). Punjab has the advantage of playing one match less
which remains a matter of concern for Delhi. DC captain Axar Patel said after the match, “We need to play more restrained in the next matches.
Rajasthan’s ‘wonderkid’ Vaibhav raised hopes!
Rajasthan Royals won a stunning 8-wicket victory against Gujarat Titans thanks to 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi‘s 35-ball century (101 runs, 11 sixes). This is RR’s third win of the season, taking them to 8th place and keeping the faint possibility of playoffs alive.
