Gujarat Titans young batsman Sai Sudharshan returned to the Orange Cap race by scoring 39 runs against Rajasthan Royals and overtook Virat Kohli to take the top spot. Sudharshan has scored 487 runs in 10 matches this season including 5 half-centuries. His average is 54.11 and strike rate is 138.5 which shows his restrained aggression.
Jaiswal-Butler entered the top-5!
Rajasthan’s Yashasvi Jaiswal and Gujarat’s Jos Buttler also made it to the Orange Cap top-5 with their brilliant performances. Jaiswal played an unbeaten 70 run innings against GT, while Butler scored 62 runs in 45 balls. Despite this the real hero of the match was 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi who scored a century in 35 balls to make it the second fastest century in IPL history.

Rajasthan Royals 14-year-old wonderkid Vaibhav surprised everyone in his very first IPL season. His 101 runs (38 balls) not only gave RR a win, but also raised hopes of playoffs. His innings included 11 sixes and 7 fours, which is a new record for teenagers.
